Boston Terrier Mom Waiting on Biopsy Results

My boston terrier is almost 10 years old. For the past couple of months he has had a hard, golfball-sized lump/bulge below his eye. It's not intruding upon his eye, but more so lodged between that area and his nose/jaw. He is acting completley fine. The vet x-rayed him, but didn't find anything; and he ruled out a tooth infection. I'm now waiting for the biopsy results, but I can barely concentrate on anything else because I'm so anxious. I thought I would see if anyone could offer some insight. Please help :(
