Boston terrier makes "yip" sound

by Tandy

Buster, 3y.o.BT, has been making a very odd "yip" sound on and off for a couple of days. After the "yip" he seems a little shaky. Anyone have an idea what this might mean?

Microchipped?
by: John

I have a little female BT, she'll be 1 year old on Nov 29th... I have had her for nearly 4 months now. I had her spayed in September and also had a microchip put in her; since she recovered from the operation, from time to time she'll scratch the right side of her neck and YELP loudly. Doesn't happen everytime, but it continues to occur; when I first brought her home after the spaying/chip implant and it happened, I thought maybe she was just tender there. Now it's been a couple months and I wonder if that chip-thingie is bugging her. Has your dog been micro-chipped? Does he do it when he's scratching his neck?

Could Buster be in pain?
by: Dee

He may need a trip to the vet. He may have hurt himself somehow. Boston do like to jump off of furniture and leap down stairs, ya know! ;o) I hope Buster feels better soon~~
