Boston Terrier Keeps Itching Her Nose Like Crazy

Hi everyone :) My Boston Terrier Mazzy has an amazingly itchy nose. She puts her nose to the floor and twists her head around so that she can smush her face and itch her nose. It was really cute to begin with but then her nose started to chaffe and get reallly raw. It has been bleeding but now it has a scab and her nose is still bothering her. We have put hydrogen peroxide on it along with liquid bandage and it seemed to help but not get rid of the problem. We have some antibiotics from her last vet trip, would those help at all (its for her allergies)?

PS: She had a bad allergy to pedigree when she was 2 and she chewed at her foot until it was huge and nasty and unusable. Her foot is now completely fine but its her nose thats the problem now :( Also we have a horse and my bostons have a gross habit of eating the horse poop, so do you think she could be allergic to that or maybe the hay?

Hydrogen peroxide is *really* drying, and overdrying can cause infection, too. Look inside her nose with a flashlight to see if that or swollen tissue is the real culprit, but stick with homeopathic or neosporin gels for sores. Peroxide is way too strong!
