Boston Terrier Health Questions

We got a Boston Terrier from a friend who had found her in her back yard right outside the fence shaking. The Boston Terrier is beautiful and I wanted to keep her after I saw her! She is very well behaved and sometimes scared when we call her by name and shys down - we think she was abused.

We haven't had the money to take her to a vet yet, but she sleeps A LOT and was wondering if it was normal. Also, she scratches a lot and has made her ears bleed (even after a bath). We have also noticed her vag is swollen. She was in heat about a week after we brought her home and the swelling hasn't gone down.

We are unsure of her age and her teats are down so we think she may have had a litter sometime. Is there any way to find it out?

She needs to go to a vet and if you can't pay for she needs to be at rescue where they can.

If you can't afford to take her to a vet now, you should
Turn her over immediately to the Boston Rescue
Group in your area. If she is pregnant, she will need
Vet assistance for the delivery of the pups.
