My BT is 2 mo.. He growls when I move him from my lap when he is comfortable. How can I stop him from doing this and not letting him think he's in charge??
I would imediately put him on the floor when he growls. This is not where he wants to be, and he will get the point that his growlings causes negative results. You want to be the alpha dog and the alpha dog always gets the good spot to sit or sleep.

Whos' the boss by: Anonymous
Have you tried banning him from your lap for a period of time and then only let him in your lap when he is invited and then leaves when you decide he should get down. This also works with enjoying the comfort of a bed or couch. It will reinforce that you are the boss and he is to please you and not the other way around. In the long run you will have a happier Boston as dogs enjoy haveing a leader that enforces rules and boundaries.
