Boston Terrier Feeding

I have a boston who is almost two years. She is very active and playful. We feed her 2 times per day. Once in the early afternoon and once in the late afternoon. The first meal is wet (human) food, usually chicken and veggies, and the second is 2/3 of a cup of HALO dry food. She is not fat but seems to be 2 or 3 pounds over weight. Any suggestions as to why this is and if we should change anything. Thank you in advance!

Pounds

My BT's Vet told me that for each pound a dog is overweight that is the same as 10 pounds on a human.
You are feeding your dog too much. No human food at all and 1/2 to 2/3 cups of dog food Twice a day.
Colonel eats the Healthy Weight Beneful dry and wet dog food. For his morning meal I mix 2 tablespoons of wet Beneful to 1/2 cup of dry Beneful heated in the microwave for 20 seconds and he loves it. His second meal is 2/3 cup of the dry Beneful around 6:00 PM. Our BT is healthy and happy and active.
Oh! by the way, he never has gas problems like most BT's do.
