boston terrier eye

My boston is 7 months and has bloodshot eyes. looks like he's had one too many, but it's not cherry eye. I am familiar with that - what else could it be? it doesn't seem to bother him.

Possible Allergies

It might be allergies, which are pretty common in Bostons. Is it seasonal, or is it year round? I'd have the vet take a look just to be sure it's not an infection of some kind.
