Boston Terrier Ears Not Standing Up

I just adopted this 11 month old boston terrier. I noticed his ears are always pulled back and when they do stick up they're flopped over, so I started taping his ears. Being that he's almost one, what's taking so long for his ears to stick up? I saw the mother & her ears were normal, but I didn't see the father.

 One ear not standing up

I have a 1 yr. old Boston Terrier that has one ear that stands up and the other one flops down, what can I do to either make both stand up or both flop down?

My Boston Terriers ears are still droopy and he has no problem with them. I have had 4 bostons in my life and he is the first one that has droopy ears..He is still just as lovable and cute!! No worries!

Although Bostons ears are supposed to stand up on thier own not all do. I have 4 Bostons and 2 stand up 1 half stands up and 1 does not at all. In my opinion is gives them character. If you are not showing it is no big deal. Unfortunately at 11 months it is too late to tape them. The cartilage is already formed.

Sometimes the ears just fold and won't stand straight up. No big deal.
