Boston Terrier Doesn't Drink Much Water

(Fairland Ok)

We just got a breeder dog that was left behind when someone moved. She's about 2 yrs. old and a loving dog. Do you think she will play in the future? All she does is mostly sleep. Also she does not drink much water. About the gas problem we give her cottage cheese mixed in her food and it helps.

No Water

It's rather strange not to drink much water. But if she doesn't move about much, then maybe it's ok. If you got her from a rescue shelter, then I am sure they looked her over but if not then you should have a vet take a look. She may need to be de-wormed. At two years old she should play a lot of the time. At first she may be shy, but as she learns to trust you she should play a lot more. Be gentle with her and definitely see a vet.
