Boston Terrier Diagnosed with Arthritis in the Spine

oston Terrier Gracie, 10 yrs old. Diagnosed with Arthritis in the spine. Gracie is having problems walking, her front feet want to curl up under her upon rising as well as when walking at times. Sometimes she acts like she trips and goes down on her neck. Vet has her on meds twice a day for pain and inflammation. She does fairly well with the pain, but it hurts me to see her fall at times. Does this sound like vet is doing all he can or are there alternatives to help in this situation? I have tried her on glucosamine along with the meds, but glucosamine aggravates her stomach. She is very stiff this time of the year because of the cold weather. Is there anything I can do better or anything else my vet might can do? She is about 4 lbs over weight, but we are working on that at the moment. God bless.
