Boston Terrier Dental Question
by Annie

One of my close friends has a Boston Terrier named Lola that is 5. Last night she was playing tug-and-war with a toy with Lola and noticed blood. She then checked her mouth and found the tooth in the couch. They visited the vet today and found out that although the tooth was found, the root was still inside. The vet informed her that Lola will need to have surgery to remove the root to prevent infection. The complication is that Lola has a heart murmur so they will need to run all sorts of tests: bloodwork, ultrasounds, scans, etc. I am very worried and wanted to know if anyone has been through a similar situation and if there is any advice they could offer.
