Boston Terrier - Blood in Stool

My 10 month old Boston has had blood in his stool off and on since we got him at 9 weeks. He has been treated for Giardia and the blood keeps coming back. He is a normal size I think, 13 1/2 lbs and he is active and generally a good dog. Is a he a normal size or has the Giardia effected his growth? What else could contribute to blood in stool?

I have a Boston and she is 4 months, about a month ago we change her food to hard and she had blood in her stool. We went to the vet and they said that was most likely the problem! If you feed your pup hard food you may want to switch to wet food!
