i have just bought a boston terrier, his ears are not stand, i was wondering can anyone tell me when they should start standing, and what should i do if they dont stand. he is 8 weeks old.
You'll probably get more specific information from breeders about getting the ears to stand; in the meantime, don't fret. They tend to go from flipping forward to flipping back minute to minute. By a later age, most are upright. Sometimes they have a little bend one way or the other; I have one dog with perfect bat ears, upright and rounded at the top, and the other, our rescue, though her ears are upright they are more pointy and tend to turn ever so slightly backward. I heard massaging the ears helps, but I also saw what looks like "moleskin" (for human feet) cut to fit the inside of the ears to help them stay erect. You might find more information and instruction on the Internet. Good luck!
