Boston Mix In Need Of Rescue

Hello,
I recently saw a boston-mix named Mike on the Petfinder web site in a kill-shelter in my local area (northwest FL). I went there to see if my Boston and he would get along. Unfortunately, I don't think my Boston is ready for another companion - he has some fear aggression issues we need to work on.

Mike is such a friendly and wonderful dog. Alert and bright, he just wants to run around and play with the other dogs. I wish I could take him, but I can not trust my dog with him alone for 8 hrs a day while I am at work. I feel an obligation now (I know it is silly) to try to find a place for Mike. The shelter director has held on to him for 4 months (way past the normal amount of time they hold dogs) because she sees something special in him.

I have contacted Boston Terrier rescues in Florida and Alabama as well as no-kill shelters. I am waiting to hear back from them.

I was hoping for some opinions on who I might try to contact next. Any ideas?
