Boston Breeding Info Needed Please

first of all I do NOT want to breed my dogs. Just want to make that clear as I seem to upset everyone when I ask this question. I have two males and they are both neutered. Now that this has been established....

How old does a male Boston have to be before he can sire puppies?

The reason for asking: have a 6 year old Boston already. Love him dearly. Kind of inherited his father (long story). I was going through the vet papers to confirm his age. Came across some papers indicating he is only 5 months older than his son!!! Is this correct? Can it be??? Do they really breed them that young?

I can't ask the breeder for confirmation because...well I've come to question her reasons for breeding dogs in the first place so I really don't want to go to her. I don't have the initial papers on him just the last one from when he was neutered which was 6 months ago when we took him and it was agreed that she would neuter him and then we would take him. She was done breeding him and had moved on to a different breed. See where I am going here?

Anyway, can they be bred that young? I know that the mom was about the same age but from what I read the females can be,(maybe shouldn't) but can be bred young. However, I can't seem to find confirmation of how young males can be. Hope you can answer.
