The Bostillon is a cross between a purebred Boston Terrier and a purebred Papillon. The best way to determine what the characteristics of a hybrid dog will be is to research the parent breeds.
Owners of this hybrid report that this mix is friendly, good with families, active and energetic. The characteristic 'butterfly ears' of the Papillon may or may not be present at adulthood in the Papillon/Boston mix. Both parent breeds are known to have problems with luxating patellas, so this should be something to check for in a hybrid. Parent breeds are both also known for their strong performance in agility training.
Typical weight range would be between the smaller Papillon range of 8 - 10 pounds, all the way up to the higher end of the Boston's 10 - 25 pounds. Average life expectancy is about 15 - 16 years.
