Boog

This is Boog, a 5 month old male. I got him from a family who could no longer care for him.
What is he? He looks like a Pug but has weird coloring and his tail sometimes uncurls, also he is pretty leggy for a Pug.
I am confused, is he a odd shaped purebred Pug? Or a Bugg? I was hoping someone on here could help me.
