Blue Eye losing pigment

Our Boston has 1 eye that is about half blue. The blue part is now losing pigment and turning white and is spotted. His eyes aren't infected and don't look irritated...and we were aware that there is a greater chance of him going blind with the blue eye gene. Could it be that he is already going blind? He is about a year and a half old.

My girl has a half blue eye too...

Is that standard feedback for an eye that's half blue, she will more apt to lose sight in that eye after time?
