Black skin spots on white are of my Boston Terrier

by Leuka's Mom

Hello Have a little guy and was wondering if it is normal for them to develop black skin spots on them. He has all the classic markings of a black and white. On his chest and legs he has black spots of skin. His hair is still white where it should be not black. Sort of similar to his snout. Normal or not?

Black spots totally normal
by: cindy

I have five Boston terriers and all of them have some amount of black spots on their white areas. Its totally normal and when bostons are shown they sometimes have them lightened up with whitener or powder. But I too love their black freckled bellies and legs.

I think they are really cute too. I wasn't sure this is normal as I have an AKC registered one. I think it gives him character.
