BooBoo exploring
I have a Boston Terrier/Brussels Griffon mix that deserves to be put up here with the other precious Boston mixes! He is a little over 2 years old now and I'd love to tell you the story of how he came to be.
I purchased Bazooka from a breeder in Ohio who typically breeds Brussels-Griffon dogs. These breeds can either be scruffy haired, like "Gridell" from "As Good As It Gets" or be smooth coated, like Bazooka's mother.
The breeder came home from work one evening to find a Boston Terrier running around her yard with her 1 year old smooth-coat BG, and to her amazement, they bred. She was a little disappointed she wouldn't be having a purebred litter, but when I came across her mixed pups I was in love!
People stop me on the street to ask me if "mini Boxers" are the new "it" breed. I just tell him he was a strange mix but that his brothers and sisters (my neighbor's dogs) are fully black.
I love this mix (though I think he takes after Bostons more) and wanted to give you a chance to see what the two breeds look like together.
Thanks,
Olivia
