Basil

Basil is a five year old Boston Terrier / Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Mix. I had never seen a mix like his and swear he's the coolest dog in the world (opinion - biased of course...). He has all the markings of a Terrier, including the short hair but his body shape is more reflective of a spaniel. Great temperament, and loves to play. Still have yet to find another dog of his unusual mix...

I too have a Boston/KCCSpaniel, Snickers is just that, mix of browns but the same face as you dog. Body of Spaniel floppy ears and great attitude. Very smart too.

We have a breeder here who sells these mixes as "Mini-Boxers" as they all are brindle and white and are like 25 pound Boxers. They look awesome, and i am a HUGE Boxer fan, but ended up rescuing a Boxer/Beagle mix (Bogle) puppy at 8 weeks old instead of paying $1200 for the "mini-Boxer" or $1200-$1800 for a purebreed.

Hello all,

I am trying to but a Boston/Cavalier mix and I am having a hard time with two things: finding other people with this type of mix and finding health information.

The best I could do is print out common health problems of boston and then the health problems of cavalier but I've heard in the past that mix breed dogs have slightly better health than purebred dog. I dunno if this is a myth or what but does anyone have any advice/ comments of the health of Boston/Cavalier mixes?

Our dog looks just like these guys!!! We adopted our dog, Winston, from the Golden Valley Humane Society, here in Minnesota. He was part of an animal hoarding case, and was a year old when we got him. He is THE BEST DOG EVER!!! Amazing temperment, fun, loves to play, and is great around people! Anyone know where to find more???

Gunther is a Boston Terrier Cavalier mix too. I have never seen his breed before. He too has the best personality. I have a purebred Boston and Gunthers personality is so different from hers.

OMG...Basil could be my dog Stewie's long lost brother as far as looks. Other than coloring, they have almost identical features.

Well my dogs daisy and jess both pure bred with papers just gave birth to 6 of these pups so now your dog is not the only designer dog. The spaniel is the girl and boston terrier is a male.
