average weight of male 9 month old boston?

my boston is 9 months old & he weighs 24 lbs. ive never seen any other bostons in person so idk if he's overweight or not. he excersizes like crazy, always running around. eats about 2 times a day...dry dog food.

That's at the high end for a show dog, but Bostons do some in 3 "sizes" so to speak, and 25 pounds isn't unusual. In fact, my first Boston topped out at 25 pounds (2 years old, though), and I think my second is around 23 pounds (now 3 years old). If he is getting good exercise and has the frame to accommodate the 25 pounds, then all is well, he may just be big. If he's chubby, then you might have to cut back on the food amount or the snacks in between. Mine eat just a scant half-cup of kibble at each feeding (2 x a day). I take the medium dog biscuits and break them into 6 pieces, so when they get a biscuit, it's very tiny. They've never complained once! They also get a piece of dried duck jerky (they are thin and small, I get them at WalMart)after each feeding. I wish my boy were about 2 pounds lighter, but he's a little more sedentary than his "sister," who weighs about 18 pounds.
