Anyone have cancer issues with their BT?

My little girl, Franchesca has had 4 surgeries to remove mast cell tumors. She is 5 years old, and a few more have popped up. I took her into the vet the other day and they are now suggesting an ultrasound of her abdomen. I'm a college student trying to decide what to do. I'm under the impression that this is more less a "way of life" for Franchesca. I have asked numerous times if she is in pain, and the vet always says she's not (Thank God!). I was wondering if anyone had any advice? I've thought about chemo. The downfall to that (other than it being very expensive) is that along with being in school, I work a full time and a part time job, so I'm worried I won't have to time to supervise her while she is on chemo.
