Agressive with other dogs

My boston is really nice to people, she just loves them, but she doesnt do good with other dogs. She goes after them and we can harldly take her out. What do we do?

Our beautiful Margot is the sweetest dog anyone could ask for. At around 3-4 years old, she began snapping at other dogs at the dog park. She is now 6, and sometimes actually goes at other dogs. (most people with larger dogs assume theirs was the instigator lol). I think it's fear aggression, letting the big guys know she won't be messed with.

Socialization in a controlled environment sounds like the first step. I would find out about any local dog obedience classes; usually, they are listed in the pet section of your newspaper's classified ads. Also, many adult education programs offer enrichment classes, such as dog obedience, and I can't stress how important this will be for both of you.
