Acting up!

Hello,

My 1 yr old BT has been recently acting up. As a puppy, he was great around everyone and all animals. During the day he was crated till I got home from work. For the past 3 months I've been taking him everyday to work with me. Now that he is with me all day he seems to have changed. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with. He bites aggressively when someone comes near me or walks in my office. Also, when we go on walks he pulls so hard and he tries to attack any animal. The odd part is, he goes to doggie daycare periodically and he loves it. I'm upset because he is so lovable with me but, I'm worried how he acts towards other people. He even will bite me if I try and take him out of his hiding spot or move him if he is comfortable. I've tried so many things. From isolating him after he acts up and making sure I was always the dominating one. I need help before he bites again!

I can relate to what you are going through somewhat...My male Boston was acting that way for awhile although he has never bit anyone he used to enjoy intimidating people and I had become very frightened he would eventually bite someone. I have found in my own experience with my dog the more I am with him the more protective he becomes. They are very easy to develop seperation anxiety and this can bring on bad behaviors but making sure your dog is with you at all times only makes it worse. You might try to stop taking your Boston to work with you its like they get spoiled to be with you constantly and may not want other people around you. At home you can begin to work on the bad behavior without worrying about someone getting bit. Good Luck.
