My peke did this; was 16; had a kidney infection and was treated for it. Was fine then he started drinking a lot and was wanting out more. Back to the vet and he was dehydrated and in kidney failure, and he went to heaven.
That was last year. Those are signs to see vet. I am now so worried and scared. My only peke i have is 17 and still beautiful has and takes vetprofin for arthriitis. 3 wks ago would walk all around our apt building. I live at the end of long hall he would run and be up front faster than me.
Now all he will do this is sit. I hold him a lot. Now he is limping, bobbing his head up and down while trying to walk. Back end seems weak. Vet 2 times has given long acting steroid shot. Not much better. I'm holding Winston now. I'm so scared.

Always let the Vet take charge. Not a book. NEW by: Anonymous
I shopped at a pet store and picked up a home vet book to care for my Boston terrier. The dog gave me constipation signs and vomiting signs. I fed the dog the book said to make him come out of the signs he was showing me. It work go away for a day but come back the next day making me believe the remedies I read was working. After a week the dog got seriously worse. I ran him to the vet too late. The signs came in so strong within 3 days where I never got to see the 4th day of him. I had to put him down. I have never been right ever since strongly blaming myself for thinking I could of help better. Please, NEVER,NEVER,NEVER try to cure your dog by thoughts or reading it doesn't pay. Now I have to suffer for this every time I thing of the only close friend I ever had in my life. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't do what I did. TAKE THEM TO THE VET AND VET ONLY FOR CHECK UP OR else.

boston peeingNEW by: Anonymous
My boston is 12 years old and was doing the same thing. The vet tested him for Cushings disease and it came back positive. The vet said that it is a common disease in Boston Terriers. We give him med. and he is doing so much better.

Take him to the vet now!NEW by: Claire
Please try not to be alarmed: Is your Boston having diffulculty urinating and defecating? as my 10 year old Boston has exactly the same problem. Mine also urinates very small amounts all over the place. PLEASE take yours to a vet as mine was diagnosed with Prosate Cancer yesterday and we are devastated as it is too late for him. Hopefully your Boston does not have cancer. Better be safe than sorry. The very best of luck
