8 Boston Terriers in Need of Help in Shelter in Kentucky
by Loretta
(New Jersey)
On 12/7/2010, 40 Boston Terriers were confiscated in a drug raid in rural Powell County Kentucky. The owner lived in a single wide trailer with all of these dogs.
The state police busted the owner, and she was put in jail, but released on bail. She was allowed to atke back more than half of the dogs, and left 8 of them in HORRIBLE CONDITION ( mange and malnutrition) in the Powell County Dog Pound, where they were not treated.
A member of the Boston Terrier Club of America was alerted to this situation, and the dogs were pulled from that pound, and are now getting vet care and treatment. They will be up for adoption in about a month.
This was a crime for the animals, and the state of KY did not care about the dogs, and neither did the media there!
Please see a photo of one of the dogs and their story at www.FOPCP.com
Any help would be appreciated!! They WILL ALL NEED HOMES!
