Callie, my 6 year old BT, still potties & poops in the house, although she goes outside as well. How do I break her at this age? I am totally frustrated.

I find with my BT I have to bundle her up when it's the least bit chilly outside or she doesn't want to go out! Even if it's just a doggie t-shirt. I don't know if you notice that with yours? It sounds like you need to go back to potty training 101 and treat her as if you're housebreaking her again. Set up a schedule and try like heck not to let her have a chance to pee or poop in the house. It will be hard but you can do it. (I like Victoria Stilwell's methods). If all else fails you can get her a little potty patch where she can pee in the house. People who live in the city use them. They're grass like areas. Maybe that will work!

Do you use a crate? if not, this might make all the difference. Research potty training methods using the crate, and make sure it's not big enough for her to sleep in one area while defecating in another. If you have a crate with bedding, remove the bedding. Good luck.
