6 month old Boston Terrier weight

I have a 6 month old Boston that is about 12-13 pounds and very lean. However, she is shorter than my 6 yr old that is all muscle but only weighs 16lbs. I think the pup is a little longer. Any guess on how much the pup might end up weighing at her ideal weight?

Thank you for the help. I rescued my little girl from a puppy mill so I really have no clue what her mother and father were like.

Weighing In
by: Mary

It is always a GUESS or shall I say a PREDICTION to say what a puppy will weigh when he is full grown. It would be pretty smart to look at the mother and father because the puppy should end up close to their size, but there is always that baby that gets bigger or stays smaller. I think that most Boston Terriers reach the size they are going to get somewhere between 10 months and 1 year. So your puppy may have some growing to do. Our 2-year old male weighed 21 pounds at 1 year and he weighs 23 pounds now (2 years) so they do a little growing afterwards too, but on the average I would say that your puppy should gain at least 5 and maybe even 10 more pounds. Or she will stay the same size she is now! :)
