4 month old Boston Terrier with constant soft stool

Help!!! My Boston has had soft stool basically since we got him at the age of 8 weeks and he is now 4 months old. I was feeding him Blue Buffalo Chicken and Rice, but recently switched his food at the recomedation of my vet. He is now eating Merrick Puppy Plate, dry food. He has had several stool samples at the vets office and they all come back normal. Has anyone else had problems with lots of soft stools. Also, when I mean soft stools I mean pudding like substance.

I had to change my Boston to a grain free diet- it helped a lot, but not entirely.

You might also want to look at any treats you are giving your Boston. For example, mine have reactions to rawhide; they love it, but I limit it, so if, perchance, you are giving him a rawhide treat daily, even a small one, it could be contributing. Just a thought

Soft Stools

When we got our female she had soft stools for a while. She was 4 months when we got her. She even had some blood in her stool but the vet said it was "stress". She calmed down eventually and things began to firm up if you know what I mean. The only thing I suggest is vitamins from NuVet.
