3 month old boston terrier biting our hands, feet, pants and chews everything

Hi, my 3 month old bt always nips and bite our hands, feet, legs and anything he finds as a target, one time he bit my sister on the lip. Also he chews everything, the bed, the table, his puppy pads, keybord chord, cable tv chord, telephone cord. Its just frustrating, we've tried scolding him, giving him lots of chew toys. He gets so aggressive whenever we are reprimanding him, he goes for an attack position and he will growl and bark and when he gets the chance he will bite us. Pls help me it is really going so crazy and out of control.

Sounds familiar
by: Charley's mom

Wow, this sounds like my Charley when he was a puppy. Get a good trainer!! some of this sounds like the dog is confused about who is boss. It is a power struggle (this may be a life long struggle) but once Charley realized I was going to be the boss, he relaxed and let me take the lead. Work on skills every day, even if it's for a short period of time. Get your Boston out for regular exercise every day, really wear him out. Bostons want to learn and to please you. Now my Boston is the sweetest, most relaxed dog ever. And he did grow out of the chewing-everything-in site phase too.

Help for biting
by: Grace

We use a newspaper to reprimand our BT. He is now 10 months old. We just have to pick up the paper & he knows he is in trouble. We use the paper to keep them from jumping on guests or if they are trying to bite. Hope it works for you like it did for us.

Chewing
by: Jen

For the chewing in everything I first tried using hot sauce and then moved to sour apple spray from the pet store. Eventually my Boston stopped chewing on random things. I also crate him if I'm not around which helped a ton and he Loves his crate
