2 males bostons?

My grandmother and I are looking to get another boston terrier but she only wants a female. we already have a male(he's fixed) and he can be very territorial, and we were wondering if anyone knew if it would be safe or a good idea to try and bring another male into the house.

Male Boston Terriers
by: Heather P

I have 3 male boston terriers. I got the first two within about a month of each other and the 3rd one about a year later. They get along well and act more like brothers everyday. When I got the 3rd male one of the other dogs was stand offish at first but the other one took to him right off the bat. I think as long as you introduce a puppy or a younger dog to your dog you already have you should be fine. Mine fight/play, clean each other, and keep each other company when I'm at work.

2 Males
by: Mary

Our male is the submissive one in our house. The females definitely rule. However, we only have one male, so I am not sure about putting 2 males together. When our females are in heat, he can be very rude to other male dogs. In any event, if you let your dogs know who is boss (that's YOU) then they will eventually get along even if they don't like it at first. I am sure there are many households with 2 males.
